On December 23, the winner's diploma was presented to him by the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Alexey Pesoshin during a solemn ceremony. The ceremony was also attended by the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the State Adviser of the Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev.

The competition has been held since 2001 in order to disseminate the positive experience of the best managers of enterprises and organizations who have achieved high results in their work and have made a significant contribution to solving the problems of socio-economic development of the region. The list of nominees is formed on the basis of recommendations of republican ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of Tatarstan.

In total, 120 recommendations for participation in the competition were sent to the organizing committee, of which 23 managers were among the best. The laureates represent various sectors of the economy: mechanical engineering, petrochemistry, energy, construction, agriculture, transport, small business, information technology.
